Some photos of the Haitian people. They very much enjoyed having their "photograph" taken and I'm going to figure out how to email a few of them because they were wanting to get a copy.

Henri and Jude (brothers that worked at Bethel House) They enjoyed playing ball with Steve during Joshua's naptime, and tried to teach him creole. Jude walked us to the market on Thursday and managed to exchange our dollars for gourdes. :~) I was quite happy to get my hands on a COLD SODA. Yeah, baby! He also picked many green oranges for Steve and made sure we had fresh squeezed juice from them for breakfast. In Haiti, the oranges are green. I don't know what they're called. They were very kind.
The cooks. They spoiled us rotten. They made us fancy Haitian squashish-like casserole, yummy rice and good breakfasts each day. For Haiti, our food was excellent. They got a kick out of Steve's Creole, and loved to help us (even mopping up after Joshua's finger paint adventure!) On our last journey as they were going home, they even had our driver stop and they bought us oranges with their own money. We were very thankful for their servant-like hearts. They requested photographs on our last morning, and they dressed up. They are all siblings or some kin...

Emmanuel or "Man-O" :~) He was our driver all over (and I do mean. all. over) PaP. He was very talkative and answered all of Steve's questions. He translated Creole for us at the O. when it was time to deliver Joshua. He, too, made a trip to the market for Steve and surprised him our last morning with Haitian treats and such.
Men in the market. They asked Steve to take their picture!
And some children in school uniform. They liked having their picture taken as well.
And here's a Haitain artist...you can see the mess he made...too bad I couldn't pack up the floor for a souvenir! :~)
