All My Love In A Ziploc Bag

Loaded up a gallon ziploc bag today with vitamins, cinnamon grahams, a punch ball balloon, a truck, a picture album and two onesies.

There aren't adequate words that describe my emotions as I load up my little gallon bag each time someone goes to Haiti.

I would really appreciate some file action. Really. Really.
It's not normal to have pictures of a child you've never held plastered all over your house as you attach to them and they have NO idea who YOU are, and to send love in plastic bags.
It's just not right.
18 months into this journey now.

The title of your post wrenched at my heart before I even read the rest of it. You are so right, this isn't normal. Not at all ...

It is not good, but somehow packing up that plastic ziploc bag makes you feel like they are getting a little piece of you. Even if they don't fully understand. Adoption is hard.
