I've been enjoying my children. I've been enjoying God's creation. We've been riding bicycles. Digging in dirt. Pulling up plants. Trimming hedges. Getting sun burned. Traveling to our Newburgh church plant and seeing friends. Eating good food. Watching ball games. Taking kids to ball practices. Keeping our little 2 year old buddy overnight. Finishing up books in school. Praying. Reading. Praying some more. Listening to good music. Steve's schedule switched back to days for a time. We're praying permanently. Who knows. Had coffee with a dear friend who helped me to organize my thoughts regarding our next steps in our adoption. 3 cups of decaf Panera later, I felt like I was getting a grip on things.
This week:
My parents come in on Thursday for the weekend.
Daniel's first ever piano recital is Thursday evening.
I think I want to go out to the orchard on Friday and see what's going on. Maybe a nursery, too, and my mom can help me decide what to put in my front plant bed.
Saturday, I'm hosting a derby/birthday lunch for my mom...hot browns and strawberry cake!
So, the front end of the week will be piano practice, school assignments, and cleaning house...doing laundry. Good times, good times.
As for Joshua, he's never ever far from my prayers, thoughts, and dreams. We're specifically praying that God would show us a reason or sign to hope.

So glad you are back! Sounds like you have had lots going on to fill your days. I am getting excited to do some planting, but it is still a little early here. Praying for you all!

Hot browns! YUM!!!
Sounds like you are having a lovely spring. :o)
Hot browns?
Keeping busy is the ONLY thing that even works for me to get through this excruciating wait. Cute photos!
