May I Be Forever Changed..

A year ago, I spent way too much precious time fretting over how in the world we...we could afford something as large and financially overwhelming as adoption.

We literally took a "step of faith" asking...pleading with God to provide if this was His will for our family.

I really can't put into adequate words the things He has taught me over the past year when it comes to money. I've learned so much. The danger is forgetting. I don't want to forget....

How He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.
How He has a people and He moves their hearts to sacrificially give.
How His providence has put us in such a time and place to be the ever grateful recipients of such giving.

We have two fundraisers coming up over the next 12 days. I hope to share through pictures the hard work and giving that our sisters and brothers are willing to do on our behalf, on behalf of our future son, ultimately to glorify GOD.

Right now, I'm just amazed. We've received $1375 in donations in the past few days. Just donations. That's not counting meat sales. My rough count so far in presold tickets...looks like we'll make $2,000 for sure, with potential for more for walk-up sales.

May God be glorified even in sharing this. The LORD is great and mighty, compassionate, merciful, loving, rich, a strong tower. If you're reading today and wondering about your own circumstances....just know that He is ABLE. He's provided every step of the way, and I have no doubt that He will continue.
