We actually received this sweet picture today. I was really, really blessed to receive it. I wasn't sure about updates and internet since the weather wasn't exactly cooperating this week. What a pleasant surprise! Also, I was VERY touched that they dressed Joshua in the outfit we sent to him, via Angela, when she retrieved her children. I knew that there were many children in the orphanage, and I fully expected that he may never wear the outfit. It was a purchase made more for my benefit...just to know that I sent him something to wear. Maybe he'd be in it eventually, kinda mindset. Well, they got him all dolled up for my monthly update. I continue to pray that he finds sweet, sweet favor with sweet caretakers as he's there. I'm choosing to see this as a "sweet" sign. :~) There was a definite difference in his weight this month compared to last month...going from 20 to 16 lbs. My coordinator is looking into it without me even having asked. She thinks it's a typo. I'm wondering if they meant 19 lbs. Regardless, he has the appearance of health, so I'm continually thankful, and continually praying. The outfit is a 12 month Carter's outfit, with a weight rang of 19-21 lbs. It looks a little big on him, but not by much. Sweet, sweet boy!

What a totally precious gift from God to receive an update with him in his outfit! SWEET is totally the word for it. It also describes him well. He just has a sweetness about him and in his eyes.
Please don't worry at all about the weight thing. We got the same kinds of things in updates all 3 years and it's just inaccurate scales or typo's or mixed up with others or something but our kids were always "gaining" or "losing" more then made sense each month.
So happy for this gift you were given!

So cute! Zade has the same outfit and I love it. Its nice that you know what size he's into now, too, so you can send more clothes :)
Thanks for keeping our Josi Lou Lou this week. We miss her dearly and can't wait to get our hands on her Monday. Zade is crazy missing her. He even named one of his "little people" Josi & still runs to her room knocking on her door when he gets up from his naps :)

We always went more by looks in the pictures than the weights as they were often mixed up. I have seen and talked to the nurse there several times. She does her best to keep up with all of the kids but sometimes the numbers just don't match up. He is such a sweet looking little man! I am glad you got the update, those are a blessing and they seem to come just when God knows you need them the most.
