School Daze

The kids have been moving right along in the school department. Lots of ground to cover, but we're managing quite well. At least, so far. :~)
We were able to board the replicas of the Nina & Pinta (Columbus' ships) last weekend when they were docked in Owensboro.

We made apple pomander balls this week. It was part of our Little House in the Big Woods study.
I need to take a picture of the amazing popsicle fort Daniel made for his Kentucky studies. He made this cool sliding door/gate. He's so ingenuitive.

So, we're all about pioneers, indians, settler, pilgrims, and America here lately. Along with electricity, forms of energy, 7 -24 hour days of creation, bible verses, rounding large numbers, adding, subtracting, spelling words, vocabulary words, reading, etc, and so on.

As always, more photos may be found on Facebook.

What an awesome opportunity to be able to actually see the ships.
