Fun With Nan & Paw!

Paw's 50th Birthday at our house the weekend they came down to get us!
His Mexica Chocolate Birthday CakeThe southern meal I made...inside out stuffed green pepper casserole, fried squash, cucumber stuff, and green beans...whoooo doggies!
So, after celebrating Paw's birthday in Kentucky, we loaded up in their car and traveled to Ohio for a week long visit. It was GREAT. Coffee every morning, nice, cool temperatures, leisurely living, no worries....it was GREAT, I tell you. Superb! We ate good, we laughed often...ahhh....good times!

We made a fire in the pit we got Paw for Christmas a couple of times and enjoyed smores in their lovely backyard in the moonlight.

Nan's first ever smore! Unbelievable!
We made firework glitter paint shirts for the 4th. Found the instructions here.

We ate out, visited the bookstore, a local historical society museum, played with sidewalk chalk, and had tons of fun!

Have I mentioned we ate well? We made a flag cake for the holidays.
And then, we had a fish fry! My brother came over with his crew (+ extras) and the kids played yard games all evening while Paw, Steve, & Uncle Matt took charge of the supper...just call 'em the "Fry Daddies."

We had a great week! Tomorrow, I'll post the 4th of July parade!

I'm glad you posted a picture of "all" of the kids, I must have overlooked that one on your chip!
I've now posted it with all of their names, because you know us folks with "old timers"...LOL!

Matt was just by to pick up his wii and said he left them with Bonnie Saturday and took his kids to Zoombeezie yesterday.

Missin' Ya'll!! :(
