And Suddenly...

I'm too busy living life to blog about any of it.

***THANK-YOU for your prayers and warm thoughts during our weighty loss. Steve lost his Dad and only remaining parent. The kids lost their only grandparent on Steve's side. I lost a Father-in-law whom I loved. Thank you for your cards of sympathy, your gifts, your traveling, your food. Our family much appreciated it!

***Today was my Avery's 7th birthday. As I type, I hear little girls giggling in a mountain of Polly Pocket goodness....ahhh, to be 7. I love her dearly. Why God would see fit to bless me with such a sweet, tender child is beyond me.

***We haven't heard a thing on our adoption, and sad to say, but I've officially reached that stage of no expectations. Oh, we're adopting? Really? Didn't realize that. No, seriously. I guess with everything else happening, it's been on the backburner. I had this mushy awful post planned for the 1 year anniversary of our first laying eyes on Joshua, but amid everything else, it was lost in the list of things to do...that day was June 18th. 1 year later, we've gotten nowhere fast.

I'll try to get some pictures up very soon. Really. I promise. Lots of summer goodness, some bitter-sweet, some just plain sweet....it's coming...as soon as I catch up on life.
