Feelin' Crafty

So, during spring break, I'm spring cleaning and gathering stuff up for a garage sale this weekend. We recently bought a 32 in. tv from someone in our church for very cheap. It's very large and we were needing a place for it. Some friends then graciously donated a very nice entertainment center to us!!! A gorgeous piece of furniture, my friends. Which made me want to rearrange. So I did. Which made me want to paint something. So, I did.

Just think, "if you give a mouse a cookie," except switch it around and say, "if you give a homemaker a new piece of furniture!"

SO, I took down an old Home Interior piece that never really was "my style." I knew I could live without it, even if I really botched it all up. Tore it down.

Got out my stash.

GULP. No turning back now!

And finally, the finished product.

Now, a nicely centered entertainment wall.


Sometimes it feels good to get the old creative juices flowing. I want to paint the whole living room and tear down that purple-y border that I would have NEVER put up. I'm more of a neutral-ish kind of gal. Anyway, I'm glad I did it. :~)
