Joshua is 19 months old today.
9 months in IBESR. A normal gestation period. I'm overdue.
Discouragement. IBESR is taking longer than ever. After that, some other gov't. sections we'll need to pass are also taking longer than ever.
No update for a month and a half.
Some retail therapy today, but clothing for me and my kids that are here with me. We eyed the toddler clothes and Steve said by the time Joshua gets here we'll be shopping for caps and gowns, not cute little onesies. We all strained a smile.
But it's really not funny.
Savior, please.

I was in for nine months. Sad to say, eleven months out of ibesr I'm only a step farther. We can only hope it gets better.
Praying! Praying! Praying!
This is all so discouraging. As of lately, I really almost feel like our little one will never get home. IBESR is just a small portion of the problem and that scares me so much that other steps are dragging on as well. We are all just so tired of this wait...My little one is one month younger than Joshua. Such a precious age, and it breaks my heart we are missing it.
I am so sorry, Amanda. My heart hurts for you.
I understand, and God is still teaching me!
We were there 9 months too and now a year later we are still praying for them to come home soon. I know I may never understand the 'whys' of waiting, but I do know He just wants me trust.
Praying for miracles in all of our cases!
