Time Keeps On Tickin', Tickin', Tickin'...

Into the future.........................

The beautiful clock that Mom & Dad got me for Christmas

Wow! Last week was such a blessing and so needed! My parents spent the entire week with us and we were so very blessed indeed! Many special memories.

Before we know it, we'll be in a whole new year! That is inconceivable to me! It's like I'm not ready to move on yet. LOL And yet, the second hand waits for no one.

The kids went home last night with some friends so I've got the morning at least to myself while I put my house back in order. I'm not sure if that will mean taking the tree down or not. Remember, I'm not quite ready to let go yet. The tree may stay for a bit longer. :~P

As for the adoption homefront, our case is still in IBESR. It looks as if our case will ring in the new year in IBESR. 6 months in IBESR. Half a year. I'm trying to apply Psalm 131 as a balm for my heart this morning. I don't need to lift my eyes up to loftily. I am not God. He is. He knows what He's doing.

We have so many blessings and God has moved in so many ways this year. We have nothing to complain about. I hope to share on here some of His extravagant grace and mercy before the new year closes in.

I was going to wait and post this update tomorrow on Joshua's 16 month old birthday, but that wouldn't be any fun for you. Or me. So, here's our sweet boy.

18 lbs, 71 cm (28 inches) These stats and this photo make him look smaller to me than he has in a while. He needs to get home to some yummy-licious food!!

Personally, I'm still praying for shock and awe. There are 3 days left in 2008. Praying our case will get through before 2009.
