We enjoyed a last minute but much enjoyed and much too short visit with my parents this past weekend. They came to enjoy the Apple Festival with us. The Apple Festival has been our tradition since the children were born.
Where else can you get super sweet corn roasted and then dipped in a crockpot of butter???? Or apple dumplin's, bloomin' onions, ribeye or pork chop sandwiches??? Or the BEST apple cider in the universe? Or sweet, cool apple slushies??

This is where the children pick a pumpkin each year.
The kids enjoy a few rides and our favorite, the ferris wheel. Man....the ferris wheel is about as wild as I get. It's going fast and forever! We had a great weekend!

Crazy boys, I just get sick looking at that picture and remembering being in their midst last year. LOL
OH MY...I did not realize the boys got on the pirate boat...I would have spazed!!

Oh my! As soon as I saw the picture of the boys in the boat I just cracked up. Those boys are CRAZY!!
OK, I am officially drooling reading over the list of yummy food. The pictures are great - it's obvious everyone had a fun time.

That picture of Steve and Avery is AWESOME!! I'm scared to death of ferris wheels so I can't imagine how you got up the courage to turn AROUND and snap that picture...but it's great.
