A delayed business trip for my hubby is finally coming to pass, and we're taking off with him tomorrow, for a drop off at Nan & Paw's. Steve will actually get to spend one night with us, at least, and possibly one on the way back. We should be back on Wednesday.
I plan on taking some things to scrapbook. I need to catch up my vacation scrapbook from last year. I'll truly enjoy just hanging with my parents for a couple of days. Then, I'll come back and start lesson plans for the school year. Because of the trip, we'll probably begin school on Monday. Our counties start on Wednesday, but I've always thought that was goofy. It truly just depends on when we get home and recuperate.
Yesterday I had a WONDERFUL time with my dear friend Katie. She's adopting from Ethiopia, with a court date coming in October for her precious Judson. It was such a sweet time of fellowship for us! I just loved talking with her about everything possible. What an encouragement.
Steve & I also went on a "couple's date" last night. Dinner and putt putt. That was fun, too :~)
