What A Refreshing Weekend!!!

We had a very refreshing time away! Steve wisked me away to Nashville for an overnight trip. We didn't stay there, but we enjoyed meandering through the Opryland Hotel. It's gorgeous. We even splurged and took the boat ride! We went to the OpryMills Mall, but there's not much to photograph there :~) Overall, a great time! Much needed.

So, while we were playing in Nashville, the kids were having a blast at Memaw & Pepaw's. They picked up cousin Abbie after soccer practice and she spent the night, too. They had lots of fun!

After church Sunday, we took an impromptu trip up to Jasper to visit with Grandpa & Ella. It was Grandpa's 75th birthday yesterday! It was a nice little visit.

As for any Joshua updates, I doubt we'll have any in the next week. Our adoption coordinator is on vacation all week. I was a bit disappointed, but at least now I don't have to anxiously check my email each day. So that's about it for this neck of the woods. We're now in clean up mode from being gone all weekend.
