Happy Birthday, Sis!!!

6 years ago today, I gave birth to a sweet little fish!

Ok, so she's not REALLY a fish. She just likes to pretend. So, yesterday, we threw her the birthday party of she's been dreaming off allllll year. A dolphin party! The best part of all...it was a surprise! Boy, did we get her good. I'll never forget the look on her face, or the sweet reaction! Hee heee. She had a blast, and our dear friends opened their pool for us. It was great.

There was only ONE tragedy...would you like to hear a fish tale? Ok.

Do you know how difficult it is to throw a dolphin party? Like, there's all kinds of beach themed stuff, but dolphins, not so much. At least, I wasn't gonna spend a fortune on dolphin plates. My girl and her friends will be too busy in the pool pretending to be dolphins to be caring too much about the dolphins on their plates. So, I got regular plates and such, but I did splurge on one thing. A balloon.
A beautiful Hello Kitty Dolphin balloon. I got it off of Ebay. I was so excited to get it for her.

Well, at least I got a picture of it. I wish I had a picture of it with Sis. At least she got to see it.

Before it escaped. So much for securing the beautiful balloon. It sparked in the power line for a good half hour after being caught. Sis had a sweet attitude about it all. I, however, was wishing the sweet little dolphin hadn't craved freedom quite so much. We did manage pictures with the dolphin cake.

I think she had a fabtabulous birthday. We love her so very much! What a wonderful 6 years it's been with our sweet daughter! We pray the Lord grants many, many, many more to her!

Now, I'm off to try and pull a baby tooth...her first! Her big girl tooth is peeking through...that dangly baby tooth has to go! :~)
UPDATE: The tooth has been pulled and will soon leave the building via the toothfairy. :~)

And this silly photo is for Moriah...the Dora jammies remind us of Moriah!!! We miss you, girlie!!!

I told Sean the dolphin story and he was laughing with tears. It was SO funny to him. But not to us, oh, no, still very sad bout it. LMBO
