If you are an adoptive parent, I encourage you to make some noise, in addition to your government steps that I'm sure we are all pursuing.
We are currently pursuing a humanitarian emergency type visa. I'm too tired to even wholly understand it myself, however, we are working with an immigration attorney. I encourage you to find an immigration attorney that can help you properly fill out the paper work and send it to the correct people in Washington. As a mom, in so many ways, I'm dealing with shock, so if you are anything like me, you need help to make sure you do it correctly.

In the meantime, we are praying that the Lord swings the floodgates of His mercy wide open on our children.
I'm thinking of the Israelites and the massive rescue God created for them from Pharoah. If God can part WATER, If God can make the sun stand still, If God can bring forth water from a rock, Raise the dead to life, take dead hearts of stone and make them hearts of flesh by trusting in His Son.....
Then, I believe that God is well able to bring our sons and daughters home on a massive scale. Soon. Very soon.
He could do it today if it was His perfect, Holy Will.
He has a special heart for these kids. Do you believe? Then, in everything, in prayer and supplication, make your requests known to God the Father. Then, rest in His perfect plan.

Another family adopting from our orphanage was able to see their boys on SKYPE last night via ABC news. They are sitting in the guesthouse where our son is now located. Here's that link:

Praying so hard for your family and sweet Joshua. Nothing is impossible with God...and this is not overwhelming to Him. I truly believe you will bring him home soon. God grants peace just when we feel like we can't find it, and I am praying that special peace on all of you until you hold him in your arms, and get to tuck him into his own bed in your house!

Not sure if you remember me from Xanga, but this is Jacci the crazy Charlotte Mason gal ;) I just want you to know that, beginning tomorrow, our family is praying for you and for Joshua at every meal. I'm going to show the children your YouTube video tomorrow so they can see Joshua and know who they are praying for. He is so, so precious. So much like our Samuel. Samuel will be 3 next month. We are praying for his safety, his health, comfort for all of you, and for a VISA!!!
