We had a wonderful visit with Nan & Paw. We were all blessed!
Christmas Eve was held at Memaw's with her new puppy Bella. Cousins and food, laughter and fun.
Christmas morning brought lots of smiles. Daniel's big gifty was his bow, which he loves to shoot. Avery has a sweet tea set that she can't wait to use. We even filled a stocking for our Joshua and the kids pulled out his things.
This week, we are relaxing and recovering. Avery is still in her jammies. Bean soup is on the stove for supper tonight and we plan to watch Kentucky play. It's nice to not really have any plans. I've been in to Yahtzee here lately. If you want to play Yahtzee, come on over.
Adoption Nothings: We were told today that our DNA packet that supposedly came all the way back to the states, never left Haiti. It's just mixed up with 300+ other packets visiting various labs and who knows when we'll ever hear any good news progress. Discouraged is an understatement, fed up is a way of life, and trying to deal in a Christ-like way has been a huge challenge. Will 2010 finally bring our son home? Stay tuned....

I understand what you described you are feeling...it is such a struggle. I often wonder what it will be like to be on the other side of this. I won't know how to act!
It was a great time with momments we'll always remember!
Will continue our prayers for Joshua's homecoming!
