The package came in the mail today. Joy of joys. At first, I was quite put out with the whole thing. More forms to fill out, more paper trails to chase, more fees, fees, fees, deadlines, deadlines, deadlines. Another home visit. Another thing to worry about.
Then, I think of the days where I wish there was something I could do. Anything. To. Bring. Him. Home.
I guess this is what I'm supposed to do. And I'll do it happily. With the hope that one day...one precious beautiful day, Joshua will be in our arms. It will be crazy surreal. That's for sure.
The update is due by October, so I have a few weeks, but I don't plan on procrastinating. I'm sending all of those forms off by the end of this week so I don't have to worry about it interfering with school.
In the meantime, I'm feeling better with each day. Around here, we're enjoying the last few days of vacation. Lord willing, Monday will be our first day of school.

When I was filling out grant applications I thought to myself, "man I am sick of forms". Seriously. No more forms. No more FEES.
I feel your pain. I think ours is more than overdue...I am so confused about the whole thing. I have been procrastinating about it and I need to get it figured out! :) More paperwork is just giving me a sick feeling in my stomach!
