So, as some of you know, we were going to enroll the kiddos into our church's private school this year. However, due to Steve's conflicting job schedule (he'll be going on 2nds in October, he's been told) we felt it was best to go ahead and homeschool. That made for a bit of rushing around. We were shopping for backpacks and lunch boxes one weekend, school curriculum the next. This is the way of life. 
But, we all managed to jump on board with enthusiasm this morning. I was up and at 'em early this morning, prayed up, exercised, showered and ready to go all before 8:30! Here are our 1st day of school pictures!

And the favorite subject today was Science! They like the fact that it was together and we had a lot discussion. Very cool.

In other news, we got a PLETHORA of Joshua pictures today! Loved it. Really lots of action shots that showed he was active, playful, thinking, and healthy. Loved IT. I'll share periodically here, but I've already loaded them all up on Facebook. Enjoy!

Way to go Mom/teacher. Sounds like a great first day. Your kids are just so adorable! How could you have bared not seeing those cute little faces every moment of the day? ;-)
