A Sweet Surprise...

I just happen to be married to the sweetest guy on earth.

He arranged a very special evening last night for me. There's a couple in our church that really enjoys ministering and discipling couples and marriages within our church. They love to see marriage's flourish and honor God. One of their ministries is opening up their lovely home for an evening.

My man arranged to use their home last night. Unbeknownst to me. So, we pull up to their beautiful home, and he promptly puts on an apron, and Jo hooks him up with a chef's hat...

He had pre-made a potato dish and brought marinating steaks to throw on the grill. Wow!

Jo had her dining room all set up for the two of us, complete with candles, and she had my favorite wine chilled...then she turned on her romantic music, and we were set! Sweet Susan had made my favorite salad and sent it with my hubby.

What a surprise!! Steve even brought enough for our gracious hostess and her family, which was very sweet.

After we had our dinner, we went to their basement where they have a game room and home theater and watched a western movie on the big screen. Jo brought us popcorn and coke, and she did the dishes!!!!

A much needed special evening! This guy knows my love language!!!
