Merry Christmas, My Baby Boy!!!

The family who delivered Joshua's gift delivered his photo to us today. They didn't get to see him personally because of flight challenges, but they forwarded his gift on with another family who took pictures for me. They said, "Not to worry if he appears sad...it was nap time and all of the children were grumpy." I don't mind. I love seeing his sweet little teeth. I'm pretending that he has a possessive little grip on Mr. Hippo.

By the way, I'm just whackadoo enough to have sprayed his toy and his outfit with my perfume so he can smell me. Yep. That's what we call DESPERATE. Like he's some sort of beagle that will catch the scent and follow his nose home. Ah well. Maybe he'll think his hippo smells really nice. And maybe he'll think he would love to smell that all of the time. Maybe. Or maybe he's showing his teeth because the smell is obnoxiously japanese cherry blossomish....no, no. Not going there.

His onesie I bought him is 12 months, folks. So, yes, I know he may LOOK big in his pictures, but the kid is sporting a 12 month onesie, with plenty of room. He's so little and sweet, huggin' his little hippo from his momma & daddy! I'm excited to see his lil' baby chunky legs. LOVE it. LOVE IT. LOVE. IT.

OH HOW I WISH HE WERE HERE. I can't wait to squeeze some chunky little legs!!!!!!!! Thank*You, Armand & Unknown Family For A Wonderful Early Christmas Gift!!!!!!!!!

Thank*You, LORD, for keeping Joshua safe and healthy!!!!!!!!!!!

Joshua is so stinkin' cute! I think it was a good idea about the perfume. I'm sure he loved it. I'm glad you were blessed with these pictures.

awww what a darling
I think that was an awesome idea to spritz your perfume on his gifts! Again, not to make him sound like a beagle or anything :snort: but I think that was a really cool idea. He will receive these things and grow attached to them, be comforted by them...and associate that smell to them. Then the first time he is in your arms that smell will trigger and he will feel so comfortable. I really believe that. :)

Anywho...yay for pictures!!!
