Here's a Happy Thanksgiving Wish For All Of You Out There!!!
As for my crew, the play by play:
*We made it through the Thanksgiving service. Yes, I blubbered, but I made it through!
*Today, I'll catch up the laundry and we'll have special Thanksgiving lessons and read our traditional Thanksgiving books. Two of our favorites:
Cranberry Thanksgiving (we'll be making the cranberry bread)
A Plump & Perky Turkey
*I'll make sure the checkbook is balanced for my "Black Friday Date" with the girls.
*Steve will play in the traditional Thanksgiving Day Football game with the church guys.
*I'll stay home and watch the parade as I bake sweet potato casserole and dressing.
*We'll catch a movie in the afternoon.
*We'll spend Thanksgiving meal with some dear, sweet friends, eating and playing games.
*I'll get out among the masses, not because I need anything...just because it's fun. Sort of a tradition. :~)
*We'll leave Saturday for some shopping and fun near where I'm from, stay overnight in the little town, and then Steve will be bringing the Sunday message at a little church there.
Lord willing, we have much to do...memories to make, fun to be had. I do wish that we could be with my family this Thanksgiving, but with Steve working on Friday, it just wasn't possible. Nothing like Mom's Thanksgiving dinner!
I'm not sure what will happen with our Joshua update. I know public school's are on holiday now, and our cordinator usually takes off with her kids. So, we may or may not hear anything until next week. If I get anything, I'll try to jump on and let you know.
God bless you this Thanksgiving!!!!
