This week was harder than I thought it would be. I don't like waiting. (I know some of you are thinking, GIRL, you got into the WRONG situation...but, come on. MOST of us would prefer not to wait.) I shared with a friend that it's like exercising. I definitely talk to myself during difficult exercise or jogging. "Make it to that tree..." "Just two more tricep dips! YOU CAN DO IT!" I usually have a goal or motivation to keep me going.
In the adoption, my motivation happens to be monthly updates. So, without that this week, I've been struggling. Is that silly? I don't know, I just know that proverbs says,

Well, yesterday I went shopping. Regular shopping and school supply shopping. Then I made a fabtabulous meal. I used these marinade packets from Sam's....Weber Creations? Any, the grilled chicken was AWESOME, and you just HAVE to try this Strawberry Spinach Salad. Even Daniel scarfed it down. Yum-O! Last night we put together a shelf for school, as we were seriously lacking shelving space, and a tv cart. I think we'll check out some yard sales this morning. Then, I'll mop and tidy what has been "left behind" this week. Stuff gets left behind around here after I've had a weekend trip. I always lack motivation after a trip. Then, I'll make some yummies to take to a fellowship tonight. They're called Bacon Wrapped Jalepeno Thingies. Looked yummy, and I have plenty of jalepenos from the garden.
Now, I just need to talk to myself. Just a few more days until I hear something about my baby.

I've got lots of "green" tomatoes...just waiting for them to ripen then a 'mater sandwich will be consumed ;)
Still here at the library...sigh!!!
Paw and I have decided to go pick up my computer tonight, ready or not...there is a "real" computer repair shop in town now, and we are beginning to think it is time to take it there instead of playing phone tag with Circuit City!
