Very busy 48 hours it's been. The crick in my neck has subsided enough for me to do my chores today (thankfully). We're helping our dear friends load their moving truck tonight. The girls are enjoying every single last second together. I'm somewhat of an emotional rollercoaster today.
I'll post a few pictures of the berry patch when I have a free moment. I'm busy making tons of food right now...taking a little break. Phew. I'm worn out.
As for our adoption, I turned in the I 171-H today. I was soooo very happy to do so. They are faxing it to Dr. B. I was told today that just because they were waiting on that document doesn't mean they weren't already working on our file :~) However, they do need the power of attorney before I can get a referral. KAS is diligently working on that. It's with the translator right now, along with some other families documents. He said that he'd have it all finished by next Friday. Then it will need to go to the consulate, which is usually a week's turn around. So, we're looking at probably at least 2 weeks, more like 3, before they have everything they desire on our file. However, it's encouraging to know they're working on it. In simpleton language, we won't receive a referral until they have the power of attorney, because that gives them the legal right to move forward.
It's quite the thought to imagine there may be a little one right now for us to love and smother with prayers to our Father in Heaven.

I just spoke to you on the phone and I know how emotional you are right now about your friends moving!
This verse just came to my heart...
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
I love YOU!♥
Woo Hoo! How exciting to know you will soon know who your child is. I can't wait to hear the news also. Hopefully you will know before I head to Haiti and I can pass on extra hugs for you (or you could come with!).
