Cinderella Moments

It's Thursday, and for our family, that's often when things get crazy! Ball practices, grocery store trips, more ball practices, cleaning the house, etc. & so on! As far as the adoption goes, we're still waiting for the certified french translation of our dossier to arrive. It should be here tomorrow or Saturday. I've got everything ready to send to Washington upon arrival. God's been faithful. I believe we'll have it complete by Mother's Day (or very close to it.) Our April Fundraiser is over with a grand-total of: $305! Thanks everyone for purchasing a magazine to support our efforts.

So, I believe I'm coming down off of the dossier high. If you're an adoptive parent, you probably know what I mean. Just the hustle & bustle of getting that massive amount of paperwork done. The obsession. The hair pulling. I need to take a deep breath.

Yesterday, I ran across this song by Steven Curtis Chapman. Maybe you've heard it. It's called Cinderella. I also listened to him tell the story behind the song. His two littlest girls making bath time a bit difficult...they're still in play mode, he's is work mode. I must confess, I've been in work mode for a couple of months now. This song hit home with me.

I'm so very thankful that I have two children to kiss, hold, snuggle, & love. I've been blessed to have little ones in my home for almost 8 years now. I'm openly confessing that Cinderella moments do exist and they flitter by so fast. I have a handsome prince of a fella who loves to make things and test them (like a parachute for his army man yesterday) and a beautiful Cinderella princess. She goes around singing songs from the old Cinderella all day long ("I've Been Waiting For True Love's Kiss, 10 Minutes Ago, and Impossible)

Thank you God, for these two blessings and each fleeting moment....

Hey, just a thought...
Some bloggers also have options for just Name/URL comments and even anonymous comments... Maybe that way some of your other friends who don't have blogger blogs can leave comments. Do you know if you can add that?

Also, thanks for sharing the video! I've never heard the song all the way thru until now, & the video was neat!! :) I really liked it.

I think it's funny when people do what Katie did above BECAUSE as I was reading "Mark's" comment I was thinking to myself..."That doesn't SOUND like Mark.." and low and behold it wasn't.

Amanda I was just gonna tell you what a neat site you have set up here. I love the family picture and all.
